The NFL Network’s James Koh will host a live online mentorship session on the AAJA Sports Task Force’s Facebook page on Wednesday, April 27 from 8:00 – 9:00 pm ET. He’ll hold a live Q&A that will answer questions about how to get into the business, keys to a great demo tape, separating yourself from others, transitioning from news to sports, among myriad other topics. The live session will also feature a live auction where autographed NFL memorabilia can be won. Just log on to Facebook at the AAJA-Sports Journalists page and join the conversation.

James-KohJames Koh is an anchor/host for the NFL Network, where he’s worked since March 2014. Previously, he worked as a sports anchor and reporter at KTTV, the Fox affiliate in Los Angeles; KSWB-TV in San Diego; and KBAK-TV in Bakersfield. Koh has won numerous journalism awards, including multiple Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow award, a Golden Mike award and an Associated Press Reporter of the Year award. He started his broadcasting career at a radio station in Montana where he was known as the “Korean Cowboy.” Koh holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a graduate degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.
