AAJA recognizes the difficulties today’s journalists face in the industry’s ever-evolving job market. We partner with employers and recruiters nationwide to regularly post job opportunities on AAJA’s job listings page.

Our partners are always looking for the next generation of talented media professionals and regularly review résumés posted by AAJA members. Log in to your user account using the email address you used to become an AAJA member to get started. Our job listings page and résumé uploader are available to help our members navigate new and exciting career opportunities in today’s changing media industry. Look under the Career Center heading of your AAJA online account homepage.

Once you log in to your user account, you’ll be directed to your homepage. The “Career Center” is located near the bottom right of the page. There you’ll find options to search job postings, upload and review your résumé and more.

FOR EMPLOYERS AND RECRUITERS – With NEW Job Posting Packages Available for 2017

AAJA boasts an impressive member pool of over 1,600 talented journalists, educators and media professionals located all over the United States and Asia. Our members range from high school and college students to high ranking producers and on-air talent. Many of our professional and student programs have a focus on networking, leadership skills and career development.

Posting a job on our career listings page means your vacancy will be visible to our entire membership, as well as AAJA’s broad network of journalists and friends. Our packages with multiple job postings and marketing extras are available for purchase until 3/24/2017 but will be valid for the entirety of 2017. In other words, purchase a package today and post your job at any point before 12/31/2017. Here’s the breakdown:

Single Job Posting – $150.00

Package of 3 Job Postings – $300 ($100 per posting)

Package of 5 Job Postings + 1 Tweeted Job + 1 Facebook Post – $500 ($100 per posting)

Package of 10 Job Postings + 3 Tweeted Jobs + 1 Facebook Post + 1 Targeted Marketing Message – $1,000 ($100 per posting)

To take advantage of any of the above offers, log in to your AAJA online account and click on “Purchase Job Postings” under the Career Center heading on your homepage. AAJA also offers corporate membership to media companies, which includes many other benefits in addition to unlimited job postings.
